At the selection stage, the director-led approach of Leader was attractive to Allgood because, unlike the traditional agency-client relationship, it offered the integration of a skilled resource into the senior management team. At our stage of evolution as an SME we needed more marketing expertise and experience than we could have developed and sustained internally.
James and his team impressed us with how quickly they understood the drivers of our business, demonstrating an ability to express these meaningfully in a revised marketing strategy and implementation plan. We, therefore, appointed Leader as our “marketing department” and Alister was integrated into our own senior management team as marketing director. This has worked extremely well, and a year on we have overhauled our corporate image, designed and launched a new web site and product range, and reconnected the function to the needs of the business.
