We were asked by Arup’s Solihull team to support a drive to explore potential opportunities for business development, particularly for infrastructure projects, within the Midlands area.

We were asked by Arup’s Solihull team to support a drive to explore potential opportunities for business development, particularly for infrastructure projects, within the Midlands area.

We started by researching customers’ attitudes towards and awareness of Arup’s infrastructure team capabilities. The results provided clear information about both audience perceptions and opportunities, which helped advise our next steps. Part of this was a recommendation that the team considered targeted, regular contact with its potential customer base through ezines, ensuring that both tone and messaging addressed the points highlighted in the research. Our design team designed a very well received template, in-line with corporate design guidelines, while each ezine’s themed content focuses on opinion, best practice and guest contributors.

Opening rates have been consistently high and the interest generated has provided valuable information for the team’s business development activity.
