James is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, holds the IoD’s Diploma in Company Direction and has 25 years of sales, PR and marketing experience

James has always placed a great deal of importance on an open and direct approach to communication and these values pervade the Leader business.

In 2004 James was made ‘PR Professional of the Year’ and he has been chairman of both the IPR and the PRCA in the Midlands. He has a deep conviction that relational reputation is a major key to organisational success and lectures on the subject at Warwick Business School.

James has worked at Leader since 1983 and was appointed Managing Director in 1991. He is a great lover of challenge and adventure having successfully climbed Kilimanjaro and run the New York marathon.
