Brandauer

When precision presswork specialist Brandauer approached Leader to find out if we could replicate an existing brochure and build a new and improved website, we proposed some fresh thinking to ensure the new materials were better aligned to the demands of the market.

Alongside internal reviews with the senior team at Brandauer, we collated and reviewed market, customer and competitor information. We carried out one-to-one telephone interviews with customers to find out how the company was perceived externally, what selling points really mattered to customers, and how they went about sourcing their suppliers.

From the insights that arose, we produced a new structure and text for the brochure which emphasised the strongest sales messages, addressed the interests of everyone involved in the purchase decision, and included new photography to reflect the company’s precision message. We also made technical improvements to the way the brochure was physically produced, improving its ‘flickability’.

The website was created from scratch, with a structure that again reflects the concerns of everyone involved in the purchase decision process. The use of foreign languages has been improved and streamlined, and the company’s well-established brand messages (making the impossible, possible) have been more powerfully presented. The whole site has been written and designed with search engine performance in mind.
